Jennifer A. Corcoran, President
President of Capital Connection, Jennifer thrives in an entrepreneurial
environment and is passionate about new businesses. She holds
an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson
College in Entrepreneurial studies and finance and is thrilled
to have the opportunity to help so many companies through the
expertise of the Capital Connection.
Throughout her career, Ms.
Corcoran has successfully marketed and sold business-to-business
products and services across many industries
mostly in technology and software choices. She has sold enterprise
(ERP/CRM) solutions for Siebel, Great Plains and Oracle Corporation.
In her marketing and sales roles she has develop detailed sales territory
and marketing plans.
While previously working for the authors of
The Strategy and Tactics of Pricing, Thomas T. Nagle and Reed K.
Holden of The Strategic Pricing
Group she helped clients segment customers and developed appropriate
marketing and value-based sales strategies to maintain profitability.
As
a fellow for Strategic Capital Resources of Boston Massachusetts,
Ms. Corcoran assisted emerging growth companies with development
of strategic business plans; perform due diligence and raise capital.
She has consulted directly with CEO’s to develop business
solutions and assist in the private placement process.
Jennifer
Corcoran has written many business plans through the years in order
to raise
capital, consulted with entrepreneurs to advance
their ideas and developed financial projections. She lectures
on entrepreneurial topics, women’s issues in business and raising
capital. She lives is Portsmouth Rhode Island with her husband
and two young children who keep her very busy.
